A revolving timetable allows children access to tuition in a variety of musical instruments and singing during school hours. In Grade 3, all the pupils are given a chance to learn an instrument for a few weeks, after which they may enrol for formal lessons.
A large number of our pupils take part in the local music and speech eisteddfods. Productions are staged annually in various phases of the school with the emphasis on mass participation. Musical Evenings are held on a termly basis.
The school has a both Senior and Junior Choir which perform regularly.
Pupils in Grade 6 and 7 are given the option of participating in a co-curricular programme which includes activities such as: drama, debating, public speaking, school newspaper and book club. Emphasis is also placed upon current affairs and general knowledge and competitions are held annually. The school participates in various inter-schools competitions in debating, general knowledge and public speaking.
