Learner Support
A well developed Learner Support Unit with access to occupational therapists, speech therapists, remedial teachers and psychologists provides a learning environment for children with special needs. In keeping with our 'Code of Conduct', we also strive to develop mutual respect among our diverse pupil population.
Our fully equipped library has a dual mission: to support the academic curriculum by assisting pupils in becoming effective users of information, and to instil a love of reading. Students have access to information in books, DVD's and the internet, as well as to a variety of contemporary and classic literature. They are encouraged to explore different genres and to discuss books that they have read. Pupils also watch films in the library, the idea being to inspire imagination, and encourage critical thinking. Reading and learning are taken seriously in a stimulating, fun environment.
