The Campus
The beautiful College campus, surrounded by horse paddocks, vineyards and mountains, is extensive and houses world class facilities and sports grounds.
In the fourteen years of its existence, Somerset College has managed to build and maintain modern facilities for its students, while at the same time protecting and encompassing its country setting.
The most versatile facility is the Boonzaier Centre, the College's 1000-seater multi- purpose hall, able to double as a theatre, a sports hall, a concert venue and much more.
Seating 600, St Matthew's Chapel is also used for music concerts and other large group gatherings.
Modern, airy classrooms at both the Preparatory and Senior Schools with science laboratories, art, drama and music facilities, IT laboratories and more, complement a range of sporting facilities such as squash courts, sports fields, tennis courts and three swimming pools - a water polo pool, a pool for Pre-primary and Foundation phases as well as a pool close to the Manor House for the use of the Senior School boarders.
